R7000 Router - Unable to connect to routers network during setup
Hi, Hoping someone can help provide us a solution. We just brought home the R7000 Netgear Nighthawk router and are going through the setup instructions step-by-step however, when trying to connect to the router's SSID network it is not discoverable by any of our devices. I've tried using the Nighthawk app on two androids via QR code, scanning for networks and manually adding in the router's wifi information but none could find the network. We have a laptop that operates on windows 10 and using an Ethernet it will connect. However, I am unable to access the Netgear Genie page using the routerlogin.net page. When entering the username and password provided in the installation guide, the window just refreshed itself with blank field boxes as if it didn't accept the credentials. After several tries the webpage switched to a "router password recovery" page. This page requests the router's serial number which was easily found on bottom of the router. However, after entering in the serial the "continue" button will not display/allow to be clicked. Tried this after clearing our web browsers cache and received the same result. Our service provider is TDS Telecom that comes in through DSL cat5e data cable to the service providers modem. We used the cat5e cable that comes with the Nighthawk to connect the modem and router. Also tried factory resetting the router and redoing all the setup new product steps and still have the same issue. We don't have any antivirus or popup blockers on during our trial as the guide said these may interfere. I have basic network knowledge, but don't know much of the indepth/ advanced settings. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you

And what firmware is on the R7000?

2017?
All the info I find it was released in 2013. Even worse.

That threw me. But I checked the manuals and other documents. The oldest manual says 2017 as does the data sheet.
Then again, we all know that Netgear's maintenance of its documentation is erratic.
