I purchased a used R8000 X6 router some time back. There was the usual "admin, password" detail on the bottom ID plate, but also a more elaborate password stamped in as well. Is this typical of this model, or is this a special configured model? Thank You

the default login/password to connect through the gui is
login: admin
password: password
the wireless ssid/password will be on a label. but its just a default. If it'd been changed it might be something different.
You can try factory resetting to get back to the default ssid/password.

Re: R8000 preset specific password stamped on the ID plate
They come with a stock ssid/password.
That's what it should be if you factory reset the router. Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on

Re: R8000 preset specific password stamped on the ID plate
Are you saying other than the typical admin, password initial id? Mine had a different password stamped on the plate, "widemesaXXX".
