Router significantly slower than modem
I pay for 400mbps. When connected with CAT5e from Mac to modem I get 400mbps. When connected from router with same cable, I’m only getting 150mbps. What’s the deal?

Traffic Meter WILL impact Internet Speed, turn it off unless you MUST have it, but test with it off to confirm full speed.
Some people have had Smart Connect problems... and unless you know the way the device connected you might not know what band (2.4 or 5Ghz) the device was on. One question, is the problem on both bands?
QoS had a tab on the left side to show you QoS settings.

I turned the traffic meter off and did not change anything else. Immediately my speed went to 400mbps

Why oh why does Netgear include such a traffic bottle neck in the firmware without a warning in bold all caps notice? The poor r7000 doesn't have the horsepower to handle the normal stuff like routing, network both wired and wireless plus count the traffic.
