Hi bosoxguy17,
The LAN ports of the router is gigabit. If the device connected to it is gigabit as well then the light is white. If the device connected is upto 100Mbps only then the light is amber.

Where is this amber light?
Ethernet port?
The manual (p 11) says:
The LED color indicates the speed: white for Gigabit Ethernet connections and amber for 100 Mbps or 10 Mbps Ethernet connections.

Re: amber lights on top of nighthawk 6700
Your Amazon FireTV has a fast ethernet connection (100 mbits), and your PS4 has a gigabit connection (1000 mbits).
The router shows fast ethernet with amber, and gigabit with white. So there is nothing wrong with the router (or the two devices).

Re: amber lights on top of nighthawk 6700
the top of the router is where the lights are
I know where the lights are. I really wanted to know which of the dozen or so lights changes colour.
StephenB has given you the same answer that I gave.
Does that answer your question?
Or is it a different light that changes colour? Not the LAN indicator.
The manual is here:
R6700 | Product | Support | NETGEAR
Page 11 refers to the LAN lights.
