I have problems logging into the routerlogin.net. After filling in the (I think correct) username and password I get resent to the login page. I tried to reset my password by clicking on the cancel button and filling in the serial Number on the back of the router, the website, however, says that this serial number doesnt match with the know information.
Is there another way to login, or to reset my password (and username)?

You can reset _all_ the router settings, including the "admin"
password. (And then reconfigure the router manually.) Visit
http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look for
Documentation. Get the User Manual. Look for "Factory Settings".

Re: routerlogin.net Login problems
If you want avoid using routerlogin.net you could type your routers (inside) network address into your web browser. Unless you've changed it manually it is usually 192.168.1.1 by default.
Also, if you haven't changed them the username will be admin and the password will be password.
These have been the defualts on every netgear router I've ever seen .... not that I've seen all that many.
