MR80 keeps losses connection to satellites

I'm having an issue with my satellites keep losing connection to my router.  I have 1, MR80, router with 5, MS80, satellites.  The router is in the basement with one of the satellites in the kitchen almost directly above it and the rest spread out on the same floor as the kitchen.  None are further apart than maybe 10 feet, none are around any other devices that would interfere with the signal.  I can unplug them all and reconnect but that doesn't last long.  When I remotely access my router it shows internet connection and is not always connected to all the satellites, sometimes 0-4, 1-5, 3-4, then out of the blue it will come back 5-5 connected, it's very random.  When doing an automatic search for latest firmware, installed 1.1.7.12, it comes back as the latest firmware, but when I look on Netgear the newest is 1.1.7.14.  I will try to manually update and see that helps.  If anyone has any suggestions outside the firmware I could use the help.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between MR📡 and MS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

Basements are not recommended locations for the main router unit. Main level or 2nd level is recommended. Concrete and steel in the basement area will cause problems.

What channel configurations are currently set on the router?
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Manually update the MS first then MR lastly. Power cycle the system OFF for 1 minute then back ON after FW has been updated.

With the holidays and vacation I haven't had a chance to move the router yet.  I will do that in the next week, although I don't think that will take care of my problem b/c after we lost power only 1 of the satellites re synced with the router and that one is the furthest one away from it, while the closer ones won't.

Is there an option that I can setup on these units that will force them to automatically reconnect to the router when they become un-synced?  I'm currently on vacation and we lost power to the house for a short time but when it came back on none of the satellites have reconnected to the router.  Kind of inconvenient when the satellite that all my cameras are connected to never re-established connection to the internet.  When one satellite is down how come devices don't connect to another satellite?  Isn't that the whole purpose of a mesh system?  Unless I don't have these setup correctly I'm beginning to dislike Netgear mesh systems.  Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
