Best Buy Refurbished w serial number registration

I have a new AC1900 R7300 with DST6501 router from best buy. It is refurbished and has a serial number. i also purchased the geek squad warranty.  The router appears to be already registered. How can I register the router in my name?  I searched the community but didn't only found solutions for not having a serial number.   I couldn't find a phone number to call.  Thanks.

    Please be informed that you need to have your proof of purchase as the support will ask for it. Technical configuration or support should be with GeekSquad but you can ask support team to register it under your name given that you have your proof of purchase.

    You can call support team for NETGEAR. But the configuration support will be with Geeksquad.
