Hide Nighthawk M2 model wi-fi username and password

Question

I can’t hide the Netgear Nighthawk Wi-Fi username and password. I also have the M1 model, and to hide those details it’s a simple tick box that stops the details being displayed on the LCD. If I select the same option on the M2 it only masks the username and password with asterixis, but if you click those asterixis on the LCD the username and password is revealed.

Can anyone recommend a solution, please? It’s a real security issue and seems crazy/pointless having the hide function when tapping the LCD reveals the masked details.

I agree the option is there, it was through the Web GUI I unticked “Display info on LCD”, but it does not remove the detail on the LCD, it only masks the username and password (which can be unmasked simply by tapping them) as per my original post.&nbsp;&nbsp;I have an M1 on the unticking the box works perfectly, but the M2, in my opinion, has a serious security flaw.

With FW NTGX24_10.13.09.00, you can disable displaying the detail on LCD by SETTINGS-&gt;Setup-&gt;Wireless and uncheck "Display info on LCD", then you won't see the detail on LCD. This is done from Web GUI, not on the LCD itself.
