Netgear Nighthawk R6700 VPN pass-through disconnects every 5 minutes

Hello,

I have a problem with my R6700v2 new router. I use it in a pass-through mode to connect to my company VPN. The client device is MacOS. Every 4-5 minutes VPN got disconnected. My old Dlink router works perfectly for hours without single disconnect, I tested it changing routers. The WiFi works fine on a router as I can connect to internet from other devices, the only problem is with VPN.

Can you please help?

Hi All,

If you happen to know the port number that your VPN is using, try to open it under port forwarding.

I have the similar problem with R6700v2. It starts blocking internet and vpn access after some random time. Bypassing the routers and using LAN cable with the Netgear modem works perfectly fine.
