Nighthawk R7800 no internet connection for office. STATIC IP

Hello,

We're trying to set up a router in our office. We have a server room which we have been setup in. When we connect at the wall the lights show that we have signal. I'm able to connect to the router through its wifi to go through the setup in the app as well as the routerlogin.net website. However, we cannot access the internet, shows as connected but no internet access. I was provided a Customer WAN IP address, Subnet Mask, WAN IP Gateway address and 3 DNS Resolvers. I have entered all this information into the Static IP options and still am not getting an internet connection. Any help would be awesome.

Thanks so much!

I know nothing about your "setup".

When you "connect" what to what, exactly?  (Hint: If a device has
different types of ports, then "connected to device" is not enough
detail.)  What do you think that "at the wall" tells anyone?  What's
_behind_ "the wall"?  Which "the lights" do what, exactly?  What,
exactly, does "have signal" mean to you?

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual (at least).  Read.  Beyond the
basic set-up instructions, look for the LED descriptions and
    "Troubleshoot".

Swell.  I can't see any of what you were provided.  "provided" by
    whom?

I also can't see any of what you did.

You might want to start by asking your (unspecified) ISP.  People
there should have a better chance of guessing at all the missing details
here, as well as providing a more interactive customer interface.

Based on this information, "awesome" seems like too weak a word.

Sorry for the lack of information. This sort of stuff is outside my scope of knowledge. Our ISP is a company called GoNetSpeed, essentially they provide a fiber optic circuit to the server room. So we hav a cat 5 cable going from the internet port on the router to the activated port in our office that is connected to the provided modem. On the face of the router the internet light is lit as well as the 2.4 and 5G lights are lit as well. I'm able to connect to the router's WiFi but it says connected with no internet access. I'm able to go through the whole setup process with the nighthawk app as well as the advanced setup when I log in through the browser window. I've used the manual and have tried the setup process as shown in the manual for setup for a static IP and am still not able to connect.

This was the info provided to us:

      Customer WAN IP address: 38.126.110.29

      Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.252

      WAN IP Gateway address: 38.126.110.30

      DNS Resolvers:

      8.8.8.8

      66.28.0.45

      66.28.0.61

Thanks for the help, sorry for my lack of knowledge

Which color is "lit"?  White?  Amber?  Other?

        > [...] Get the User Manual (at least). Read. [...] look for the LED
        > descriptions [...]

Did you?  Did you notice the colors mentioned there?

        > [...] Our ISP is a company called GoNetSpeed [...]

Did you ask them about this?  Presumably, you're not their first
customer, and you're paying them a small fortune.  I'd try to get
        something for my money.

        > Customer WAN IP address: 38.126.110.29
        > Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.252
        > WAN IP Gateway address: 38.126.110.30

You have an atypical WAN/Internet configuration, a block of four IP
        addresses ("38.126.110.28" - "38.126.110.31"), rather than a single IP
address.  (Although the effect is about the same.)  The low and high
addresses have special purposes, so only ".29" and ".30" are of interest
        to you.

My experience with these routers in that kind of environment is nil,
        so I know nothing, but...

If you configured the R7800 with:

BASIC > Internet > Internet IP Address
              (o) Use Static IP Address
                 IP Address 38.126.110.29
                 IP Subnet Mask 255.255.255.252
                 Gateway IP Address 38.126.110.30

then (with low confidence) I'd expect it to work, especially if its
        Internet LED is white.

        > [...] I'm able to connect to the router's WiFi but it says connected
        > with no internet access. [...]

"connect" _what_ "to the router's WiFi"?  What does that device have
to say abut its network interface?  IP address, subnet mask, gateway,
DNS, ...?  Any difference with a wired device?

Your DNS servers look harmless enough, at least.

           Firmware version?
