Trying to open port 44158 on X4S R7800

I have spent countless hours trying to open port 44158 for my Helium miner on my R7800 router and I believe that I have done everything correctly and the port still shows up as closed.

I have set my miner to a static IP 192.168.1.200 on the router. I set up port forwarding with protocal TCP and the external and internal port range as 44158 on192.168.1.200. I have had UPnP on and off. I have called my ISP to make sure that there is no firewall on their end and they have told me two separate times that there isn't. I swapped out my cable modem to from my ISP's to one that I bought previously to make sure that isn't the problem.

Nothing seems to work and I am going nuts. Any help on how I can get this fixed would be greatly appreciated.

  • Also, I have an EX8000 range extender on my network if that helps any. I have made sure that the miner does not connect to that though.

Currently using Arris/Motorola SB6141. Previously had a Hitron E31N2V1 provided by Spectrum.

Not a very safe way to do it but have you tried putting the miner in the R7800's dmz?
