AX6600 router and want to connect 2 ethernet cables to 2 different computers
I want to connect 2 of my computer towers to the one router, but only one will work.
Any suggestions how to get both of them connected?
thanks,

Re: AX6600 router and want to connect 2 ethernet cables to 2 different computers
What model# router do you have? RAX###?
Check ethernet connections and configurations on PCs. Update ethernet drivers on the PCs.
CAT6 LAN cable is recommended.
Check LAN ports in back of the router, try all LAN ports.

Tell us more.
As well as details of the Netgear router, the model number, how are you trying to connect these PCs? Wired to the Ethernet ports on the router?
What happens on the tower that won't connect? Any error messages?
The more detail you can provide, the quicker we can offer suggestions.

Re: AX6600 router and want to connect 2 ethernet cables to 2 different computers
What FW version is loaded?
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.
Be sure to check the PCs ethernet networking configuration. Should be configured for Auto-Obtain Networking. Contact the mfr of these PCs for additional help and information regarding there product. If one PC works and the other doesn't, the other PC needs to be reviewed.

We still don't know what happens when you try to connect the second computer.
There are usually error messages or prompts of some sort when you try to plug it in.

It does not have internet connection.
Again, that's a bit thin on useful details.
The PCs can see each other and it is just the Internet on one that doesn't work?
If this is a Windows PC, which version and what does it say in Settings > Network & Internet?
