Can Nighthawk MESH use WiFi WAN uplink instead of ethernet?

I have a NightHawk MK63 dual-band mesh Wifi system.  My cable modem ethernet port has broken.  It is possible to configure the NIghtHawk Mesh WiFi system to use WiFi for the WAN uplink rather than ethernet?

   Thanks for that detailed description.  Is it actually a "modem"
(which has no wireless capability), or is it a modem+router?

   Which you determined how, exactly?

   Sounds unlikely to me, expecially if your (unspecified) "My cable
modem" ia actually only a modem.  When you read thtough the MK63 User
Manual, did you see anything other than an Ethernet WAN/Internet
connection?

Thank you so much for the reply, here is some clarifying information.

1 - it is a router + Cable modem (an Arris TG2492 I believe), it terminats the Coaxial cable from my internet provided and generates a WiFi signal (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) as well as having 4 integrated ethernet LAN ports (which my NightHawk MESH router is plugged into one)

2 - by troubleshooting with the internet service provider.  There are two other ethernet devices I have plugged in which also became inccessible, the ethernet ports on the cable modem no longer show any activity lights and they are reported as "Disabled" in the Cable Modem status page, even though they were configured to be enabled, the ISP diagnosed a hardware fault affecting the ethernet LAN ports and recommended replacing the cable modem (which I did) - although that took time and I was looking to see if I could connect my MESH router to the cable modem using WiFi instead of ethernet while I acquired and setup the replacement cable modem.

3 - Indeed, I had researched the MK63 documentation and that very much implied ethernet was the only supported WAN uplink method, however I thought I would reach out to the community to see if any other options were known as I equally couldn't find anything that said it wasn't possible.

I now have my replacement cable modem/router so service is back up.
