R8000 Nighthawk Strange browser errors with Circle enabled

Over the past few weeks I'ved started getting weird errors in my web browsers on specific website consistently.  The error would appear differently in different browsers.  Chrome showed ERR_CONNECTION_RESET, Microsoft Edge showed "Hmmm...We can't reach this page", Firefox showed a Certificate error.

The strange thing was that the same sites opened fine if I used my laptop on a different WiFi network or using my Verizon hotspot.

I have finally identified the problem as the Circle Parental Control enabled on the router.  This computer is on a profile with minimal filtering (only limiting explicit content) and the sites in question are FaceBook, the local newspaper.  I receive no message that Circle has blocked the site, only these strange browser errors.  If I disable Circle, the sites work fine.

Any ideas what can be causing this?  I would prefer to keep Cicle enabled to filter the content my grandkids can access when they visit.

Hi ex_dilbert, welcome to the community! Does the issue persist if you have the laptop on a different filtering level? What about having the same filtering level on a different device?

Hi ex_dilbert, I would like to follow up and check if you are still experiencing the issue.

        Hi Dexter,

Sorry for the long delay. The problem had stopped occurring for a while.  Today I was able to test it on another laptop and get the same error using the same filter and a different filtering level.  Only when I turn off Circle does the error disappear.  This is truly a strange occurrence because it seems so random.
