Unable to connect Blink Sync Module 2 to RAXE500 WiFi router

Previous Netgear X4 C7500 modem router worked with the Blink Sync Module 2 without issues. Change was to improve network stability (which has happened), and getting the Blink system connected is the only issue.
Issue:
Blink Sync Module not connecting to Netgear Nighthawk RAXE500 wireless router.
Error message:
Incorrect Password
Sync Module 2 failed to connect. The most likely cause of failure when adding a device is an incorrect or mistyped Wi-Fi password. The Wi-Fi password you enter is displayed below.
This is an incorrect error message as I have verified multiple times the password is correct (and have even done a copy paste from my password vault).
There don't seem to be any helpful logs from the router, modem, or Blink Sync Module that will help decipher what the root cause is.
I do see the Blink DHCP in the Attached Devices list on the router.
Things I have tried:
-I read that the module uses the TKIP protocol and changed the security settings to WPA-Personal [TKIP] + WPA2-Personal [AES] from WPA2-Personal [AES] on the router's security options and rebooted.
-Wi-Fi router firmware is latest version, same error message.
-Validated good signal from router to Sync Module. Sync Module is within a foot of the router, same error message.
-Powered off/on the Sync Module. Reset the Sync Module. Multiple times, same error message.
-Changed the Wi-Fi router password, same error message.
-Changed the Wi-Fi SSID name, same error message.
-Created new Blink System, same error message.
-Powering down all attached cameras to the Sync Module, same error message.
Things I haven't tried (yet):
-Turning on IPv6 in the router. It is off by default.
-Setup Port Forwarding.
-Changed the fragmentation length and CTS/RTS thresholds in the router settings.
Any ideas as to what configurations are needed to get this to work with this specific router? Or at least can point me to where the error logs are located that may help in troubleshooting? I'm not sure if this is actually a router, modem, or sync module issue.

I had contacted Blink support prior to submitting this post. Blink support finally responded last night to me and the first time had me repeat the steps I mentioned I had already done (also mentioned in this post). Their second response they had me do a firmware reset which corrected the issue. This firmware reset included these steps:
- Reboot the Wifi router
- Relocate the Sync module next to the Wifi router
- Unplug the sync module and wait for 30 seconds.
- While unplugged, using a paperclip or similar item, press and hold the reset button on the sync module.
- Then plug it into power.
- Continue holding the reset button until you see a flashing red light. Once you see the flashing red, you can release the button.
After this, I was able to add the sync module successfully. I'm sure that steps 1 and 2 probably weren't needed, did them anyway.
I hope this is helpful to the next person having this issue. Do note that the [TKIP] security method is required to be added which is not a default on this router.

Re: Unable to connect Blink Sync Module 2 to RAXE500 WiFi router
By today's standards, your X4 C7500 provided plain vanilla Wi-Fi. One stream over the 2.4 GHz band and one stream over the 5 GHz band and supported WPA2 security.
Your RAXE500 supports Wi-Fi 6E and WPA3 security. Depending on the configuration of your RAXE500 there is a chance your Blink module will not connect.
On your RAXE500 Wi-Fi configuration. Do you have configured separate SSID's for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands?
Do you have the Wi-Fi 6E enabled?
Are you using WPA3 exclusively or with the WPA2/WPA3 option?
Your X4 C7500 was a combination modem/router. What is the brand name and model number of the modem you have connected upstream of your RAXE500?

Re: Unable to connect Blink Sync Module 2 to RAXE500 WiFi router
As also mentioned in the original post, I changed the security settings to WPA-Personal [TKIP] + WPA2-Personal [AES] from WPA2-Personal [AES] on the router's security options and rebooted. The Blink system requires TKIP authentication and my expectation is that this setting should work.
Also, the Blink system is only capable of connecting to the 2.4G network, so I expect the other networks (5 and 6G) are irrelevant to the discussion. I had this working on the Nighthawk X4 previously with both 2.4 and 5G networks.
The Logs tab on the router admin shows nothing helpful as to what an issue may be. So I am expecting that the Blink system is not getting this far in the authentication process. There is also nothing helpful in the modem log pointing to a problem.

Re: Unable to connect Blink Sync Module 2 to RAXE500 WiFi router
Something to contact the Blink mfr about regarding there product...
Ask about any FW updates for those devices that could better support WPA security. TPIK has been considered compromised and not fully supported anymore.

Re: Unable to connect Blink Sync Module 2 to RAXE500 WiFi router
Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
