My customer has the RBRE960 with 1GB Frontier FIOS service. All current clients have no Internet access. I added my cell to the network in order to test.
DHCP AOK, Ping AOK, Speed test @ near 1GB.
But, existing clients are all blocked from Internet.
Rebooted all ORBIs and re-sync. No joy.
Speed test from ORBI app @ neat 1GB up/down
Tested with Armor Of. Same result.
I can find no instance of anything blocked on APP.
On a Win 11 PC with Ethernet connect Shows that Internet OK on IV4 but Ping to everything fails.
Lights on but non one home.
Anyone have an idea of what's going on?
Thanks in avance

Re: RPRE960 Speed test AOK but not Interent acces for any client
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Both wired and wireless devices can't get internet access?
Doe the RBRs web page show GOOD status for Internet access on the Basic tab in a web web browser?

I am not on site right now.
ISP is Frontier FIOS. No clue on ONT make model. Doubt an issue as nothing changed for months and Network TV AOK.
Don't have the firmware version. Product has worked flawlessly for 6 month or more.
Neither existing WIFI or Ethernet clients have Internet access.
My own CELL connected as a new client. Speed test @ 1GB up and down.

The RBRE960 is connected directly to the ONT.

OK. Sounds like something has happened on the system or in between the RBR and ISP services.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
https://kb.netgear.com/31029/Where-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite 📡
Are the RBS wireless or ethernet connected to the RBR?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Is the separate 6Ghz SSID section, Armor or Smart Parental Controls enabled or disabled?
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.
A factory reset maybe needed if one hasn't been done since last FW update.

Re: RPRE960 Speed test AOK but not Interent acces for any client
The RBRE IS connected direct to the ONT...no other router or modem. And, the fact that the RBRE does speed test w/o fail tells me that that connection to the ONT is solid.
This is a small house and could run the entire network w/o the 2 satellites.
Unless the ORBI is set to auto update FIRMWARE it has never been reset.
That is what I intend to do when I return.
This problem happened all at once. All clients blocked somehow. Parental controls is OFF.
I'm going to turn of Armor, too. It is a PIA!
This is a weird problem. I've been a tech for 40+ years and pretty much know where to look for issues. But if NG has firmware issues now that is a big problem!
I thank your for you help.

How small of a house?
Ok, I would start simple, turn OFF ALL RBS, Armor and SPC if there enabled. After you disable Armor, power OFF The ONT and RBR for 1 minute then back ON with the ONT first then RBR. Check for internet services.
Lets see what the RBR is doing by itself.

Re: RPRE960 Speed test AOK but not Interent acces for any client
I did a hard reset, used same SSID and passwords and all systems came back on line. As is had the latest firmware I suspect it auto installs and ate a hair ball.

Yes. Thanks again for your help. I don't know why I was tentative over doing the reset as I know how to set it all up again. In actuality, it was pretty easy.

Re: RPRE960 Speed test AOK but not Interent acces for any client
If you would - could you please let us know if you have (or had) the following setting enabled?
There have been a couple of other issues with the 960 reported recently and we are trying to identify if this may be something causing the issue. For now, we are just gathering information.
Thanks!
