Re: New RBK20/40 Series Firmware Version 2.7.3.22
My RBR50 Firmware Update web page now shows this version for router and satellite.
That seems a positive step forward.
Not for me..... yet.

Re: New RBK20/40 Series Firmware Version 2.7.3.22
I think the satellites are ok but I can get the main router to respond. Holding the reset button for any combination of time lengths doesn't help and neither does tftp options. Left for vacation and came back to no internet and an expensive paperweight.

Re: New RBK20/40 Series Firmware Version 2.7.3.22
try nmrpflash?
https://github.com/jclehner/nmrpflash
Need to press the reset button for 30 seconds then release, then it send to PUT the command and upload the FW.
I had a problem on a Windows 10 PC where this didn't work to use TFTP, so I switched to a WIndows 7 PC and the TFTP worked.

Re: New RBK20/40 Series Firmware Version 2.7.3.22
nmrp does not work. I just get an error about the ethernet cable being unplugged no matter what cable i use and what port I plug into on the router. Supposedly on other documentation when doing the reset button it should be changing from green to amber. Mine stays green the whole time no matter how long or when i push the reset button. I don't get any other lights or functions from the router. The satellites seem to be alright though, they're still running and have the pink light for being disconnected from the router.

Re: New RBK20/40 Series Firmware Version 2.7.3.22
I'm not getting anything from the serial console at all after setup and plugged in. Tried multiple reboots and console is blank.
This is really frustrating! I can't afford to buy a whole new router after less than a year and a half!

Re: New RBK20/40 Series Firmware Version 2.7.3.22
Ok, sounds like the RBR is hosed pretty good.
Please send a PM to @Blanca_O and @Christian_R and explain the situation to them and see what options maybe available to you.

Re: New RBK20/40 Series Firmware Version 2.7.3.22
This post caused me to check if my system had been auto updated to 2.7.3.22. I was amazed to find that it had! This is the first auto update that I can recall in the last 3 years. Do not know what casused them to push it at this time. Fortunately my system appears to be working fine.

Re: New RBK20/40 Series Firmware Version 2.7.3.22
You might power OFF the RBS and RBR and ISP modem for 30 seconds and power back ON in reverse order then do a backup configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Re: New RBK20/40 Series Firmware Version 2.7.3.22
All devices were losing wireless Internet connection reporting issues with DNS names resolution.
I had no such issues after disabling Traffic Counter and NTP Daylight Update

Re: New RBK20/40 Series Firmware Version 2.7.3.22
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and Orbi system been performed since last update?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

Re: New RBK20/40 Series Firmware Version 2.7.3.22
The router was powered off, modem as well.
No configuration reset were undertaken since too many settings had to be reconfigured.
