Orbi Disconnects whenever I reboot my hard wired laptop
I have had this weird issue where if I reboot or shutdown the computer that is plugged into the RBR50 primary router using a hardwired Ethernet then my entire network shuts down until I boot it back up. I setup my Orbi AC3000 Tri-band WiFi Router (RBR50v2) where I have 2 wired Access Points and one outdoor Access Point in my garage. My laptop in my office is hardwired to the RBR50v2 using a standard ethernet Cat5E cable. Whenever I shutdown my Macbook Air or Pro the entire wifi network does down and it won't come up until I boot up the hardwired laptop. I checked the Admin logs and I see a bunch of denial of service attacks but it looks like they are coming from the Access Points. My working theory is that disconnecting the ethernet on my laptop triggers all the Access Points to try to use Wifi for the backhaul connection and that in turn causes the whole network to crash. Anyone else hit this issue. I thought it was random bugginess for the longest time but now I am pretty sure that it's tied to rebooting whatever device is hardwired.

How odd and frustrating for you, sorry! Do you have any network switches involved in your setup?
Resetting seems like the first thing to try. Is it one hardwired device or multiple hardwired devices that cause the issue? That helps us look at whether resetting the offending the device vs. Orbi.

I did reset the device many times. This consistently has happened more than a dozen times so I don't think it's as simple as rebooting.
But I do think it's more than just my computer it's probably also my TV.
My setup is as follows:
AT&T Fiber Modem > Orbi RBRv2 Router > Laptop Hardwired Here
Cat 6/5E > Access Point 1
Cat 6/5E Ethernet over Coax to my TV > Access Point 2 > TV plugged into Access Point 2
Wifi Connection to Outdoor Access Point 3
The ethernet over COAX uses https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013J7OBUU/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 since I just wanted to reuse the coax already laid in my house.
The TV is hardwired to Access Point 2 and I rarely hard reboot my TV but when I do I also get a notified outage.
Thank you for this detail. I am no expert and am just guessing here, so until you get further expertise my suggestions may help.
Is Access Point 2 the satellite you're having problems with when hardwiring your TV and laptop? The ethernet over coax is unique so we may want to rule it out first, e.g., try having that satellite connect wireless back to the router and also swap it where Access Point 1 is right now. If things don't improve, we look elsewhere otherwise look into the ethernet over coax details.

Is there one laptop wired to the RBR50, or two? When the laptop is powered off, what happens:
- The Orbi ceases broadcasting its WiFi SSID?
When devices seek to connect, the Orbi system does not show up as a choice? - Devices which are already connected to the Orbi suddenly report "no internet" or "no connection"?
- Devices which are wired to the Orbi network suddenly stop working? (such as the TV).
Do you by chance happen to have a dumb gigabit ethernet switch lying around? (I have at least 3-4 old switches in my "box of stuff". Being a hoarder pays off occasionally.) Would be fascinating to see what happens if the laptop is plugged into a switch and the switch into the RBR50.
The Orbi has been 'reset' many times. What kind of reset? (just press something into the 'reset' hole and release, or perform a Factory Reset? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMw4ePACgc4
