Using existing network name
trying to understand the set up. i plug the Orbi main unit to my existing cable modem with an ethernet cable. i then want to use my existing network name and password so i don't have to reprogram all my devices (Alexa, TV, netflix, etc) so i would login to orbilogin.com and change the SSID name and PW to the current one? will my devices access the satelites now ? and how do they know to go to the sattelites instead of exising modem with weak signal. thanks, and please no technical acronyms please.

Re: Using existing network name
Of course you can use same SSID name and PW as before.
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?

Re: Using existing network name
Disabling the wireless on the ISP router, and ideally re-configure the ISP router to become a pure bridge so the Orbi router can do the NAT and routing - permitting there is no IPTV and VoIP in the play.
