Cannot log into orbi login via http://www.orbilogin.com/index.htm

SO, I am trying to log into my ORBI system via http://www.orbilogin.com/index.htm.

After entering my credentials, it says Please wait a moment and hangs up there.  Any thoughts?  Thanks.

UPDATE:  So, just turned the ROUTER off/on and was able to succesfully log in.  Thank you.

How? With a browser and wired to the network?

It might help if you told people what the modem is in front of this router. The model number could be useful. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?

The reason for asking is that a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.

If your Orbi is in AP mode, http://www.orbilogin.com/ may not work.

Be sure to clear all browser caches. 

Try a different browser, IE11, Firefox or Opera...

Does 192.168.1.1 do the same thing?

My apologies on the lack of info.  So, attempting to log in via my MBP using Chrome.  FWIW, I have had ZERO issues in the the past logging in.  I just cleared the CACHE and still cannot log in.  Now, I opened up SAFARI and was ABLE to log in, no problem.  My service is optimum and the modem is connected directly  to my RBR50 and  the satellites are wired.  Thank you.

I am probably the only one on the forum who does not know which of the 261 definitions of "MBP" is intended.  "FWIW" I get.

On a side note, just cleared everything up on the MBP and still cannot log in.  This time I got a Internal Service Error Code 500.  Also, just tried Safari and couldn't log in.  Strange.

Thanks.  Displaying ignorance is my principal contribution to the forum.

My practice is to connect to the Orbi using its IP address whenever possible.  (Fewer characters to type.)

If the Orbi is in the default "router" mode, then it should be (a) the Gateway IP, and (b) the DNS IP for your MBP.

For example, my Orbi is 192.168.1.1, which is also the Gateway and DNS IP for every device connected to the Orbi.

I there any other device in the house that has a web browser? iPad? iPhone?

Can you please try to browe to the IP address using one of those devices.

(I know the screen will be impossible to read, but they should still "connect".)

Same thing, it says Please wait a moment.  If it matters, it gives me the option to logout.

Can you do a screen capture of the message?

Maybe it is time to have everyone in the house to 10 minutes of Yoga while you power the Orbi off and back on using the power switch on the back.  (Not "reset", just off and back on.)

I usually save it as a jpg file and use the "Browse" button in the lower left to attach it..

The "Photo" icon in the format bar allows inserting images "in line", but a moderator has to approve them.  Sometimes takes a while.
