Netgear GS324T switch Setup for data transmission
Hello, Im trying to setup my GS432T switch to receive and transmit Raw data from 5 different sets of data acquisition equipment that I have connected to it. I have already done the basic configuration that allows me access the system from the browser pages using the IP address. I need directions and how to do this setup

Re: Netgear GS324T switch Setup for data transmission
Please send the link to the Crystal Ball - no idea on how this undefined, unnamed data acquisition equipment can be installed into different groups.
This could be done for example by having the equipment connected to dedicated VLAN - what requires some infrastructure to handle the different IP subnets and DHCP for the devices.
Old friends from PSI and CERN shared this overview on how DAQ are working in general.
This tells me my ad-hoc idea of VLANs can't be that wrong.
