Port mirroring GS105E

Hello,

i need to monitor video stream on a network, so i'm looking for switch in 1GB with port mirroring. Network has VLAN too.

Is the device GS105E the right thing I need ? WHat is the difference with the v2 version ?

Thanks !

Re: Port mirroring GS105E

Hi Amarcellin,

Welcome to the community! 🙂

I would recommend you the GS105Ev2 switch which is one of NETGEAR's 2nd generation of ProSAFE Plus Switches. It supports port mirroring as well as VLAN.

The difference between the GS105Ev1 and the GS105Ev2 is that the GS105Ev2 has new features added which are loop detection and automatic DoS attack prevention.

Kindly check the GS105Ev2 data sheet here.  For more information about the GS105Ev2, click here
