VLAN Membership

I'm creating a VLAN with ports 14-16.  The VLAN is VLAN10 and tagged.

Do I need to remove these ports from the default VLAN1 as untagged ports?

Thanks,

Darryl

As always, it depends what you intend to do on these three ports.

if the plan is a dedicated network with three ports where you can connect e.g. a computer, a printer it's more likely you want this network accessible untagged,  so PVID 10, VLAN 10 [U]ntaged, and [-] for VLAN 1 of course.

If the plan is to connect another VLAN aware switch to extend the VLAN1 and the VLAN10 to, or a computer where the host is on VLAN 1 and some VMs on a dedicated VLAN 10 ... you keept the VLAN 1/PVID1 in place.
