VLAN membership - Unable to tag/untag port member - GS748TS SWITCH
Hi all,
selection frame ports - disappeared. I cannot tag/untag port members.
Same story on browsers for Win10: IE, Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox 52.0
and for iOS: Safari.
Unit No. | Model Name | Hardware Version | Boot Version | Software Version |
1 | GS724TS | 00.00.01 | 1.0.2.0 | V5.2.0.9 |
From my experience, one of these should work:
1. IE in compatibility view.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2536204/how-to-use-compatibility-view-in-internet-explorer-9
2. Firefox 3.6.
3. Safari 5.1.7.KB article about this: https://kb.netgear.com/23841/The-VLAN-and-LAG-configuration-screens-do-not-display-correctly-on-my-switch

Hi Makary,
Welcome to the community! :)
I suggest you to update the firmware of the GS748TS from v5.2.0.9 to v5.0.2.11. Be sure to perform a factory reset on the GS748TS after upgrading the firmware then reconfigure it from scratch. You can download firmware v5.0.2.11 here.
Let us know the results.

DaneA

I just want to follow-up on this. Were you able to update the firmware of the GS748TS to v5.0.2.11 then perform a factory reset and reconfigure it from scratch? If yes, what is the result?

- MakaryTutorHi,
I will try Your solution on Monday and let You know. - MakaryTutor
During the disable stack process I got stuck (instruction here).
Before I started:
switch GS748TS - Master Unit; 192.168.1.254,
switch GS724TS - Slave Unit.
I marked:
Change Unit Mode To Standalone After Reset -> Apply
Effect:
switch GS748TS - disappeared in the LAN
switch GS724TS - appeared as 192.168.1.254 (with credential of GS748TS switch).
I cannot access to GS748TS via WEB interface.
