M4250 PoE microcontroller bricked after update
Earlier today I upgraded from version 13.0.4.9 to 13.0.4.19. After the switch rebooted, the fans all went to 100%, and PoE stopped working. (M4250-10G2XF-PoE++)#show poe Controller.................

Reads like a broken PoE uC or a power supply issue. As your device is certainly under warranty coverage, head to https://my.netgear.com/ select your (already registered) switch, and follow the process [Request Hardware Support].
Should they have a specific idea on how to manually update the component, support will certainly come back to you with suggestions. As the fans run on full power, other components might be affected.
[Edit] The uC does also have some PWM outputs and are probably used for the fans, too.

Yes, but likely caused by a design defect in the firmware update process. The system was working flawlessly before I updated it.
