Where is the invite user on the ReadyCLOUD web site
Hello,
I know in the old 6.1.XX firmware it was under the the Cloud Tab. Now it sends you to the website and i can't find the invite button. Any help would be great.

We removed the “Invite User” button from the Manage page in ReadyCLOUD web portal, we use Share option for invitation now.
I attached some screenshots for how to invite a ReadyCLOUD user. It’s similar for both an exist user and a mail box hasn’t registered to ReadyCLOUD.
The steps just like this:
1. Select a share you want to share, right click. Then click the "Share" button.
2. Enter the email address that registered to ReadyCLOUD or want to register to ReadyCLOUD
3. If there's already a ReadyCLOUD account, select the account, and click "Add"
4. Choose the permission read only or read/write
5. Finish
6. The invitee will receive an invitation, click "this link"
7. Confirm the invitation
8. The invitee only can see the shares that you shared to him and his home folder
9. If you want to stop sharing with the invitee, you can delete his account in "Manage" page "Users" list
10. If you want to share more folders with the invitee, you can select the share folder, click "Share" button

I have shared the folder with the email address I wanted. The person receiving the email has not seen the email come in to accept the invitation. They have checked spam folders and everything else. Not sure how to reset for everytime I try to resend the invite it show as emailed but not pending. How can we fix this?
Thanks.

As always quick reply.
So there is no quick way to share a whole NAS?
Thanks - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredSharing is done on the per share level, not globally. This is true for both local and Cloud users.
- JW_DKAspirantTo me it appears that when I create a remote user - using the ReadyCloud - the remote user can immediately access all files (at least Browse and Open) :-( .
I have checked that the share I tested with has no rights for Everyone or Guest-Group/Guest-User.
I can see the new-created remote UserID in the share-settings, but have not given rights (Read only or Read/Write). - So if I'm understanding this right. The permissions for ReadyCloud users are all stored, managed, and setup on the ReadyCloud site. Not on the NAS itself.
The local NAS administration permissions have little or nothing to do with actual permissions or settings for ReadyCloud users... (since the checkboxes are greyed out anyway on the local admin pages). If I am using the local admin interface, I cannot change a readycloud users permissions. I must do it through the website only?
Correct? - smartwombatAspirantWhen will the documentation and website be updated to include this?
It's really not good enough to have all that out of date information online :(
