ReadyNAS no longer discoverable & unable to login

I use the readyNAS to store raw video files as a backup, been using it now for over 12 months and it usually works without hassle. In the last couple of days it has not been allowing me to login with my username & password to access the password protected files. I have tried jumping on ReadyCLOUD and editing the login details there, but the NAS is not discoverable (as it once was). I haven't changed any of the physical setup to the router. I have tried restarting both the router and NAS, unplugging and replugging too.

I have access to the files which are not encrypted by password, so the NAS is definitely on the network.

Any advice would be awesome, I need the NAS back online and accessible asap!

Thanks in advance

  • I have exactly the same problem, can't access the admin page anymore at home, I'm not even using readycloud I just have the account.

Tried to use the default login (admin/password), reboot, try again, nothing.

I can still access my stuff locally on windows but that's it (also detected on RAIDar).

What am I supposed to do ? Reinstall OS still even though Netgear **bleep**ed up and not me?

    Pretty annoying.

    Got a ReadyNAS104.
