Joomla --> php.ini file
Is it possible to update the joomla add-on?
It would be great, if the php.ini file has changed, so it is possible to upload files bigger then 2Mb. :)
Thanks

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredI think the 2 GB limit is related to apache. It's not possible to upload files larger than 2 GB at this time over HTTP or HTTPS.
- xeltrosApprenticeI think there is indeed a limit in the php.ini file. You could modify this file directly via SSH or you can submit a request to the developer of the add-on.

Yes, youre right, you can activate by SSH, but the support desk Netgear told me that I will loss the warranty of my box, when I activate SSH.
(do I want this from a 3 day old ReadyNAS?)
this is the reason why I ask to update PHP.ini file by the official way... :D - xeltrosApprenticeYou might want to read this, the bottom of grievous message.

However I agree that an official, supported solution is always better. Check out poussin add-on and get back to us if you have any problem. - super_poussinVirtuoso

so you can install the addon which is without the 2MB limitation

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean, or what you are expecting from me....
I installed the add-on:
- Joomla
- Author Poussin
- version 1.0.0
included in this add-on, is MySQL, PHP, Apache, Joomla 2.5 (I think  )
On Joomla I would like to install the community builder extension. This extension is bigger than 2 Mb.
The Commutiy builder manual says:
"PHP ‘upload_max_filesize’ parameter and the ‘post_max_size’ parameter must
be set to at least 4M (8M recommended)."
The php.ini file located at "/etc/php5/apache2" and set the upload limit to 2 Mb.
(checked in joomla, System; System Information; 'PHP Version' part and 'Core' part
By knowing this, I started to search to edit the PHP.ini file.
To get it working I would kindly ask to Poussin to edit the PHP.ini file in an updated package... is it possible? - RobP1Aspirant

Hi, where can I download this add-on?
Thanks. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredSee the Dropbox link in the Add-ons Available for R6 sticky: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=153&t=70914
Then go to Apps in the Dashboard and use the upload button to browse for where you downloaded the app to and install it.
