ReadyNAS backup devices allow SSDs?
I need a small-scale "home" backup device. Do the RN212/312/422 allow SSD drives?
Why is it so difficult to find an answer to an easy question?

Hi @Mr_1024
Welcome to the Community!
Yes, ReadyNAS OS 6 units very much accepts and allows the use of SSD drives, you can check the drives that has been tested on the Hardware Compatibility list.
Hope this helps!

Also, the hardware manual shows how to mount them in the disk trays - see pages 171-174 here: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/READYNAS-100/ReadyNAS_%20OS6_Desktop_HM_EN.pdf
