[REQ] Computer & ReadyNAS on a single UPS solution
I own an APC ES 550. Currently my computer is using the RJ-45 to USB cable for UPS monitoring. There seems to be no way for multiple computers to share this connection, so either my computer or my ReadyNAS Ultra 4 Plus is out of luck. I thought it may be useful if someone could create a addon that would address this issue. Basically I would have the ReadyNAS monitor the UPS and if the readyNAS could somehow tell my PC to shutdown in the event of a power outage. That would be awesome. I know how to issue remote shutdown commands from one Windows BOX to another, but not sure if the shutdown.exe command can be ported to ReadyNAS OS.

- skim32TutorThank you. I think it's working. I guess I won't know until the next power loss. But that's fine. The Popup Alerts are working when I disconnect the UPS so I think it's working.
