comprehensive MANUAL for the MLDonkey on ReadyNAS NV+?
Greeting!
just installed the MLDonkey add-on because i want ip-blocking. started the interface via frontview and I am quite confused by what i see...
is ther ANY manual out there for the average windows user that makes sense of how to use MLDonkey?
specifically what i cant figure out is:
1) how to start torrent downloads
2) how to install ip blocking lists
3) how to change settings (change download folders or passwords for example)
4) how to add MORE than one management IP
5) how to set port forwarding
=> in fact, how to change ANYTHING in general! (do i click stuff, write commands, etc.)
and anyway, what ARE the best setting with a 16mbit DSL connection shared by 4 PCs via DSL router?

- DaMightyTomAspirantIm not that sure what you mean by ip-blocking.. But the transmission uses blocklists that get updated every day.
- mensch8maschineAspirantsomething like peer guardian for pcs... you get ip blocking lists on the web, prevent *certain* people from seeing what youre downloading
- mensch8maschineAspirantalright, started two downloads using mldonkeys search, however they are not downloading! says the source is "donkey" (whatever that means). what if i have torrent files on my pc that i want mldonkey to download? how do i get it to use those files?
- JeminiAspirantyou can refer to the mldonkey wiki http://mldonkey.sourceforge.net/Main_Page
