Change new raw disk and stuck...
Hi, I have ReadyNAS Pro Pioneer Edition.
Disk configuration is ST1000528AS (1TB) X 6.
Raid type is X-RAID2 dual-redundancy.
Last saturday, bought new 3TB disk and change Disk 1.
I can see the message on front panel.
(New disk added, Testing, formatting...)
And then, I hope to see next message 'Resync 0,0%' , but can't see resync message.
It could be stuck.
Wait for about 30 minute... still stuck.
Replace new 3TB and reinsert new 1TB.
All step (New disk added, Testing, formatting, Resync) is proceed smoothly.
And recover is complle
I tried to format new 3TB with GPT partition on Windows 7 64bit.
(When connected new 3TB disk have 3 partition already. It is formatted by ReadyNAS).
And Re-Change Disk 1, All step (New disk added, Testing, formatting, Resync) is proceed smoothly.
Is it need to format new disk with GPT partition, before change disk on ReadyNAS? :?
Below is system log.

No. I have installed several unformatted 3 TB drives into my pro.enowy wrote: ...Is it need to format new disk with GPT partition, before change disk on ReadyNAS? :?...
So there is some mystery here. However, it sounds like you are all set now. - enowyAspirantThnak you, StephenB :)
I know that no need format, but it is strange to me.
It is remained disk 4,5,6 yet and will try one more time.
Is there other one who have same problem? - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserThere are a lot of issues being reported with expansion with the NVX. Though I haven't seen them posted for the Pro Pioneer.
