Download the User Manual for your NV+ and read it. Learn to access the unit using Frontview. When you are able to get access and review Shares and Logging and etc. you will want to set-up some sort of Backup for your NV+ so you don't lose the data thereon in a catastrophic failure (as you almost experienced apparently). For this you will need a ~$100-200 USB drive that is big enough to hold everything.
Having a backup, preferably keeping it off-line, is very important lest your small company lose everything in a false sense of security re: the NV+ RAID.
