The paths for the shares listed below could not be found.

After reboot through the admin webpage, I got message of "The paths for the shares listed below could not be found.  Typically, this occurs when the ReadyNAS is unable to access the data volume.". then I lost my data volume.

Product Information:

NETGEAR ReadyNASRNDU6000  (ReadyNAS Pro Pioneer Edition)

Serial Number: 001F33EA5A3F

how can I get the data back?

  • The volume scan information reveals the Group descriptors and ext2 superblock are bad. When the NAS tried to fix, then it caused "Memory allocation failed".

Please see the following volume scan information:

Any idea or support are high appreciated!! I really need to get my data back.

Is it helpful to reboot again? The All six hard disks are OK from the admin webpage.

      Thanks in advance.

      Hello nicho2016,

It appears the issue you have described requires assistance from the engineers and/or higher tier who can remote in to the NAS and fix this from the backend.

Unfortunately, It shows on your records that the support warranty of your product is already expired. You may try contacting support center and avail a support contract. That should allow you to extend the support for your product so they can escalate your issue to L3 or patiently wait for anyone in the community who has the knowledge in the SSH commands and fixing some issues from the backend.

      Regards,
