problems using Netgear19 router on starlink network

Good morning, people. I have a problem that I cannot work out...
I live in rural NSW, Australia, and have set up a Starlink System on our farm. due to the trees, we have found it necessary to install the dish ( square model) on the roof of our Farm-stay which is about 150m away.
we were originally running a system that had ADSL2 running to our main house, then the signal was transmitted wirelessly to the farm-stay residence, then the Netgear router was installed there and everything worked fine.
Now, I've installed the Starlink down at the Farm stay, I also installed the Starlink Adapter, and basically reversed the system, bringing the Netgear router back to our house, and trying to use THAT as our Access Point to the Starlink network
Now, when trying to set up the system, I've run into the problem that I have "no internet"
1) I have the ethernet cable plugged into the "Internet Port' on the router
2) all lights on the Netgear router are green
3) My Starlink App shows me that the router (and also my laptop, when I log into the router) are connected to the Starlink network
4) the Netgear Genie set up window will SOMETIMES show that I have internet, but any devices connected to the router show "connected without internet"!
Not being a very computer savvy individual, this kind of problem appears to be way above my pay-grade.....so ANY help VERY much appreciated!
