My apologies for not following this thread more closely. This somehow got away from me - but the issue seems to be resolved, and unfortunately I'm not certain what may have fixed it. Windows updates I imagine, but as to which one, I can't tell.

I'm having the same issues. Frequent disconnects. I am on the Anniversary version of Win 10 and I changed the power setting as Netgear suggests. Still disconnects. With my wife needing to take some online courses soon that's not going to be acceptable. When it works, it's great but lately not worth the effort. Is Netgear looking into the issue? It's not just a few of us.

I'm having the same issues with the A6100. After updating to Windows 10 and running the latest drivers 1.0.0.32, it will often disconnect. The Netgear Geenie program will not let med reconnect. Sometimes I can reconnect by using the built-in Windows WIFI selector. Other times I need to reboot, then use the windows selector. No other WIFI devices on my network have this behaviour.

Hi All,
Uninstall the driver and reinstall. When reinstalling, use the standalone driver instead of the driver with Genie.

I've reinstalled as standalone, any more issues and it's in the trash. One thing to think about is that driver is from 2015, it's now close to 2017 and Win 10 has had many changes. Some to the way it handles wifi. Maybe the driver needs tweaking. It worked flawlessly for a few months and then not. Seems like a Win 10 update may have changed things. But that would mean the driver needs an update.

Mine still behaves badly. Every few days, it stops working, and I need to disable the driver, reboot and re-enable the driver in Windows Device management. Its getting highly annoying. Tried several different USB ports, and the network is working fine on other devices.
