Unable to Connect A6200 to Internet

I am using a modem of host computer to connect my desk top to the internet. According to isp only need SSID# and password to connect but connection is not happening. Net Genie is not showing any available wireless connections even though wireless modem is inches from me.

What switch do I need to flip to get connected. It is showing a connection to 1394 net adapter, however.

    You are doing to ad-hoc setup. You want to plug access point device instead of a6200 behind the main computer that is doing ICS (internet connection sharing )
