WiFi adapter A6210 not detected by my computer

I just purchased my WiFi adapter and tried to set it up on my computer but it is not working. When I did the set up and it came to the part where it had to detect the adapter it was not able to detect it. I tried plugging it into every USB port but it still couldn’t be detected. I restarted my computer and tried again and it wasn’t detected still.
