Connecting Cat5 568B configuration to a GS305 Issue
I have no connectivity from the GS305 when using 568B configured RJ45. Using a standard patch cable from the router to the GS305 gets connection lights. Plugging in the 568B RJ45 cable gets no lights. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Both the A and the B scheme makes use of the exact same pairing. Switches don't care about color coding as long it's done right. Essential is the same scheme is applied on both ends of a cable or a wall cable. Suspect some error in the color connection, the pairing - for example wrong "white" associated with another color pair. 99.999% a wiring issue or improper crimped connectors/wall outlets.
