FS116 - does it have network information?
does the FS116 have netowrk data available?

Hello jpm1,
Welcome to the community!
The FS116 is an unmanaged switch with no software/firmware to manage it. I don't believe that you can pull out any network data of off it since it is just pure hardware.
Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks,

thank you very much!
another question for the same switch, could you guess what might happen if someone plugged a PoE (power over ethernet) device into this switch?

Hi jpm1,
The FS116 switch does not support PoE. Thus, its not a PSE or Power Sourcing Equipment. If you will connect a PD or Powered Device (a device that will turn on via PoE) to the FS116 switch, it will not power up. What you need is an FS116P switch because it supports PoE.
