How to get 1000MBps through a GS105 switch?
I have the above switch connected to my Comcast modem with a CAT6 ethernet cable, Comcast service is supposed to be 400MBps. I do a speedtest on my laptop which is ethernet connected through the GS105 to the modem, and I am only getting 94 MBps. So, I take a look at the LED indicators on on the output port which connects to the Comcast modem, it has 1000 MBps and 100 MBPs LEDs. The 100MBps LED is lit. So, this switch must be a bottleneck.
How do I get the switch to have 1000MBps throughput, since it is supposed to be auto-sensing?
The Comcast Modem is an Arris XB6 Wireless Gateway: TG3482G, which I confirmed has gigabit ethernet ports

Have you tried a different cable?
Or port on the switch?
Does your computer connect at gigabit speeds if directly connected to tthe xb6? (what speeds do you get direct)?
