trying to create an offline network.
2 cameras into Shogun from SDI cable connected to HDMI convertor connected to Kiloview SDI Encoder sent into the Netgear Switcher.
using OBS to stream.
ISSUE: The Network will only work offline after switcher was connected to hardwire ethernet.
GOAL: Have the Network work fully offline without initial internet connection into switcher.
LOG:
New Switcher
Switcher Power, Ethernet to Laptop, Turn On Camera Kiloviews, Wifi Off No Hardwire =

Connect Switcher to Hardwire Ether =

USB 10/100
USING DHCP
Ip 10.3.81.192
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Router 10.3.81.1
Remove Hardwire from Wall = Everything still working and flickering green
Power off Switcher, Power Back On (with cameras and laptop plugged into switcher already) without Hardwire from Wall = Solid Green lights, USB 10/100 Yellow, not working.
Power off Switcher, Power Back On (without anything plugged into Switcher, first Ethernet into Laptop, then Kiloviews) without Hardwire from Wall = Solid Green lights, USB Yellow, not working
Connect Hardwire from Wall into Switcher =
Lights Flickering Green, USB 10/100 Green, Cameras NOT WORKING on OBS.
Power Everything off,
Switcher On Nothing Plugged in, Turned On > Ethernet into laptop > Cameras into Laptop
(Yellow no flickr no cameras)
Connect Switcher to Hardwire

I don't know what any of that stuff is.

What, exactly, are you connecting to what, exactly? Some port on the
GS108 to _what_, exactly?> Remove Hardwire from Wall [...]
"Wall"? What is behind this "Wall"?
> Removed Hardwire From Wall out of Switcher = everything still working
Come back 24 hours later, and see how well it's working.I'm guessing, but it sounds as if you have a bunch of devices which
expect to use DHCP to get their IP parameters, and you're trying to use
them in a network which lacks a DHCP server.Knowing nothing, I'd guess that there's some kind of router (which
includes a DHCP server) behind your "Wall".You can either configure these devices with static IP parameters
(address, subnet mask, gateway, ...) or you can add a DHCP server to
your "offline network". The easiest thing might be to add some old
router(which includes a DHCP server), and leave its WAN/Internet port
unconnected.
