Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' MYSQL
Hi!
I don't really know where to start but i'm trying to install Wordpress on my Readynas Ultra 4 with 2 3TB in RAID 1.
1. I followed this guide http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/12258/~/host-a-blog-on-the-readynas but I was stuck because of the old PHP-version and no access to MYSQL-database.
2. After some Googeling I found another thread about the same problem. http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=60268
3. Bought this package https://rnxtras.com/addons/phpmyadmin-bundle-readynas-4-x86 and installed... no success. Still no access to MYSQL-database (WTF).
4. Took a look into PHPMYADMIN and removed old for some users (tried the guide above a few times with different options) BUT when I was on the move I also removed ROOT-privileges (stupid, believe me, I know).
5. After this I get this message:
6. Tried to reinstall the firmware without success.. Still same problem, cant access MYSQL trough SSH and PHPMYADMIN don't work anymore.... :?
So, what to do?
First thing first, how do I get root-access (admin password dosen't work)? Am I able to reset everything without loosing data (want a clean machine) and is this a way to solve the access-problem? H-O-W do I sort out the **** PHP/MYSQL/Wordpress problem? If someone wants to get SSH-access to solve the problem, I'm glad to give you the data..
Best regards

- super_poussinVirtuosoTry to launch mysql in debug mode with skeep-networking option then allow access without password ( grant + update command )
