Backup via FTP Not working - please help

I am trying to backup via FTP. When I do the test connection everything says it connects fine. When i actually try to run the backup job though it doesn't work. I can see it login to the server just fine but then it just sits there and doesn't do anything. Not sure what to try next.

Here are the logs from the Ready NAS 1100

And here is the log of the same connection from the FileZilla server.

Seems like you did not specify some host adress, so it is filled with "0".

    Best, tuxmike
  • Here is the source as I have it filled out. I just blurred out the credentials. When i click Test Connection it works fine.

Then this is what I have the destination set to which is just a share on the NAS.

IF you connect to the FTP site with the filezilla client using the same credentials, does that work properly?

The first post shows a connection timeout with FileZilla, so you probably also need to confirm that data transfers from the server to the PC work as expected.
  • Yes. Even when the ReadyNAS connects I can see it connect just fine. It just doesn't seem to do anything once it connects then it times out. The snippet from both logs is in my original post.
