Can't get Netgear to respond to support call/chat?

I have a valid suppor contract: OnCall 24x7 1 Year, Phone Support, Cat. 2, NA, ROW

 

Despite it being 24x7, no one picks up the phone, and the chat button is disabled.  How does one get a hold of netgear support ?

    Hi joe_schmo,

     

    I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.  It might be possible that all NETGEAR experts on voice/chat channel were engaged on other clients by the time you have contacted NETGEAR Support.  

     

    I inquired about your concern and found out that you were able to open case with NETGEAR Chat Support and it is still ongoing up to now.  Also, it seems that your concern is related to your post here.
