Delete and create partition on external USB disk on NV+
I have a problem related to this thread: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=66622
But the instructions doesn't work for me since I'm on RAIDiator 4.1.10 [1.00a043] (ReadyNAS NV+) and the suggested sgdisk or apt-get is not working.
How do I remove a partition and create a new one? Can someone please post the commands? I know a bit of linux/unix, but only the basics like handling files and stuff.
My USB drive is mounted on /dev/sda1

- SkywarpTutoryou could just connect it up to your windows PC and go into disk management and delete the partitions there, after that connect it back to the NAS and format through the webinterface
- stevenDAspirantDidn't work. Still reports as 193 MB (it's a 200 GB disk). As posted in the thread i linked to, it seems like removing the partition and adding it again, directly on the readynas solves the issue.
- stevenDAspirantSolved when formatting as FAT32.
