Disconnecting access session initiated through Raidar

Hello,

I have been unable to find any guidance in user manuals, on this forum or elsewhere to help me with the following:

Launch Raidar
Select a ReadyNAS unit (for me: NV+ or ProPioneer)
Click on Browse button on the Raidar interface
Enter Admin credentials
-> I can now access all shares on the selected NAS

How do I disconnect this session so that I can force a re-validation of credentials? Presently, if the Browse button is selected after a subsequent re-launch of Raidar, no validation is requested. A reboot of the PC does cause a re-validation requirement but this is obviously an impractical solution.

Thanks

Avinash

  • If you are using windows and are using same user name and password to login for both windows and user account on Nas,
it does not normally ask for password at all but you could try this option, if you are using windows 7 it may differ on other versions of windows,
    1. click start and in the search box type gpedit.msc and press enter now you will have thne local group policy editor open,
    2. Browse to Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options\
    3. Enable the policy setting named "Network Access: Do not allow storage of credentials or .NET Passports for network authentication"
    4. Reboot the computer.
