[FIXED] Readynas 104 fvbackup-q consumming a lot of cpu

Hello,

Yesterday when launching the "top" command I noticed that whatever the % of cpu consumption of the other processes the processfvbackup-q always complete ti 100%.
For example Qbittorrent is The second biggest process, and there is others taking about 2%.
When the sum of other processes is 15, fvbackup-q is 85, when it drops to 2% fvbackup-q goes up to 98.

I have no backup task running nor timely programmed (only on demand and on button press)

Do you have an idea of what could cause this ?

Thanks

I'm not seeing this on my RN102 - CPU is 98% idle. I do have several backup jobs scheduled.

I am running 6.1.4, what firmware are you running?
  • Thanks!

    It indeed seems 6.1.5 related.

After a second reboot the issue was not present anymore.
I'll wait for the next stable release but since a lot seems fixed in 6.1.6 I hope my RN104 will finally get completly OK ;-)
  • Although I experienced the fvbackup-q high CPU load issue with 6.1.5, my testings reveals that this got solved with 6.1.6.
