PS3 Problem
Hi
I have had a home network. I initially had a duo streaming to the PS3 and it had worked well. A couple of months ago I upgraded to the Ultra 4 and it has 4x 2g western digital drives in it. It's running software version 4.2.19.
The folder and file structure is the same as the Duo. I have four folders under the media share. These are called Home Videos, Movies, Pictures and Television. I transferred the files to their respective folders.
The first time the problem, at the PS3 I couldn't see any movie files in the movie folder. At the PC I could see all the files. I eventually did a factory reset and started again.
After setting things up a second time I can't see the files in the Television folder. I have dlna on and I can use all the other files. I have left the shares and folders at the default state.
Is there a way to resync the folders between the Ultra and PS3.

But if you lot into your ReadyNAS, then go to servies, then streaming, make sure the list is pointing to the correct folder, and hit rescan. - CrookzAspirantCan also be an issue with permissions try creating a folder using frontview, then moving video files into there. Will tell you if it is a permission issue. On media server I always create fodder via fontview due to the problems it can cause copying from pc/external drive
