RAIDiator 4.1.8 failed to update to 5.3.4
Hello all,
My NAS is running RAIDiator 4.1.8, under "System"->"Update" and "Remote" tab I click "Check for Update" button. It returns saying I have the latest version.
But due to other problems I'm having I've been browsing these forums and found the latest release is 5.3.4! Since "Remote" didn't work I downloaded "RAIDiator-arm-5.3.4" and tried the "Local" tab instead, after selecting the file and clicking "Upload and verify image..." I get this error message:
"Local file upload failed"
Tried using:
IE 8.0.6001
FireFox 12
Chrome 18.0.1025
I have disabled Windows Firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials (AV) in case they were blocking the upload. I also can't find an earlier version to try an update in smaller steps. Any ideas?

- signalmanAspirantThis might seem like bad news, but if you're running Radiator 4.1.8 then you have a Readynas V1 so you are on the latest version! You could try a beta 4.1.9 t15 depending on what your problems are but it seems like you're trying to install v2 software on a v1 readynas
- readyreadygoAspirantDamn you're correct! I checked my receipt and it says "ReadyNAS Duo", when I check ebuyer.com they list the product as "Netgear V2 ReadyNAS Duo" hence my confusion.

Will be contacting eBuyer ASAP for refund!
Thanks signalman - chirpaLuminaryYes, check with them for replacement/refund.
RND2000-200xxx is the v2, if it is -100xxx it is a v1. Should be a sticker with that on the side of the box too, to help convince them. - readyreadygoAspirantHave contacted eBuyer.com, due to the time since I purchased the NAS (31st-Jan-2012) it is now too late for me to return it as "Wrong Product Delivered". So ignore all the text description in the link above, what you get is the NAS shown in the pictures. Also the price they list, £100, is approx. the cost of a V1 from other retailers. So basically eBuyer.com seem to be knowingly miss-leading customers to purchase a V2 when they actually get a V1?
Anyone want to buy a hardly user, like new ReadyNAS Duo V1? - readyreadygoAspirantAccording to:

Under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, amended by the Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994 , and the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982. A product must be "Be as described, matching any pictures or descriptions of them"
Since the product I received has no USB3 or Marvell processor the product is not as described. So will be contacting eBuyer.com again! - ReadySECUREApprenticeI hope that works out for you.
